The Family Justice Board was established in March 2012 as a key part of the Government’s response to the Family Justice Review. Its remit is to drive significant improvements in the performance of the family justice system thus supporting the delivery of the best possible outcomes for those children and young people who come into contact with it.
The board is made up of senior figures from across the family justice system, has an independent chair, David Norgrove, and is accountable to the Secretaries of State for Education and Justice.
More information including the board’s terms of reference and membership can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
